The register separates six outcomes rather than treating every certificate as simply real or fake: authentic, misattributed, edited, not found, unverifiable, and pending. Its stated workflow begins with a submitted storefront, includes age-gated site review and collection of every published certificate, then checks each report against the laboratory named on it. The current index covers 28 laboratories, eight of which have been reached.
