The catalogue treats a release as a type and places each colourway beneath it as a variant, preserving a permanent HC# for the record. Its value model uses the median of observed sales for that exact variant, with no value published before five sales and the middle half of transactions shown as a typical range. Sources include completed eBay listings, member-reported sales, and auction results; current asking prices are kept out of the calculation.
