EtnaMonitor, a live dashboard for an active volcano
An independent Etna-monitoring site combining tremor readings, official updates, webcams, satellite hotspots, seismicity, maps, and travel checks.
Field notes
The dashboard combines official INGV notices with tremor, infrasound, seismicity, webcams, NASA FIRMS thermal detections, and a 3D view of named Etna seismic stations. Its public workflow includes checking a municipality for ash exposure and checking Catania airport status, while an experimental forecast is described as updating every 10 minutes. Several embedded panels were still loading in the captured page, and deformation data was explicitly unavailable.
