GLASS: A Million-Cell Window Anyone Can Paint
Credibility concern recorded. The source reference remains available for verification and correction.
A shared stained-glass canvas gives every visitor fifteen pixels an hour to place, overwrite, and eventually lose.
Field notes
The canvas combines a million coordinates with sixteen colour choices and a refill rule of approximately one cell every four minutes, so participation is deliberately scarce. Cells are mutable rather than owned: another visitor can cover any mark, while the underlying plane remains in memory and on disk. The page describes a future Solana token that could raise the hourly allowance, but says it is not yet issued and will never be required to paint.
