Klid, a MIDI-to-video instrument
A visual editor that turns MIDI piano performances into exportable videos with camera moves, particles, backgrounds, titles, and fades.
Field notes
Klid uses a MIDI file as the scene’s timing and control source: the score drives notes, key lighting, and camera cues, while optional recorded audio can replace the built-in piano sound. The editor supports front and cinematic views, camera keyframes, particle styles such as dust and marine snow, title cards, fades, and background plates. Export guidance specifies MP4, WebM, and MOV video formats, plus 9:16 and 16:9 output dimensions.
