LightLab, a 3D studio for learning how light behaves
An interactive photography-lighting classroom where learners position virtual lights, cameras, reflectors, and objects across guided food, product, portrait, and reflection exercises.
Field notes
The simulator organizes lighting practice around controlled comparisons: users can keep the camera and subject fixed while changing light position, source size, distance, color, or reflector cards. The visible camera setup is 65 mm at f/8, 1/125, ISO 200, and the lighting panel supports up to eight configured lights. Exercises include window side light, colored-gel separation, blinds, reflective objects, and a three-item Taiwanese snack arrangement.
