Nook, a Messenger with Rooms Only a PIN Can Reach

nookmsg.com Observed source
Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

Nook is a private messenger concept built around hidden PIN-selected rooms, Telegram-style chat folders, expiring messages, and deliberately limited identity discovery.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-09 issue.

Field notes

Nook separates conversations by PIN rather than by a visible room list: each PIN can open a distinct environment with its own chats, folders, notifications, contacts, and recovery options. The homepage describes eight single-use backup codes per room, QR-only contact discovery, and group limits of 50 people or 200 on Pro. It also explicitly distinguishes local and in-transit encryption from server-side storage the operator could read. The site identifies the product as in development and not yet available in app stores.
