Piton separates a structured `.pi` source from the implementation artifacts it produces, with no runtime of its own. The homepage shows anchors that can inherit and compose, including a Button and an IconButton example, and names Markdown, JSON, and YAML as compilation targets. Its Belay layer places agents, skills, commands, instructions, and references in the same versionable system as the underlying specification.
