Print Layout Check
A browser tool that compares one image with four print formats, showing crop, border, bleed, safe-area, and effective PPI consequences.
Field notes
The calculator takes pixel dimensions, orientation, placement mode, bleed, safe inset, and target PPI as inputs, then reports how each choice affects the printed canvas. Its examples expose practical differences between formats: a 3,000 × 2,400 source reaches 342.9 PPI at 5 × 7 but only 205.3 PPI at A4, while the A4 example requires 2,481 × 3,508 pixels for a 300 PPI full canvas. The page also separates trim, bleed, and safe-area measurements.
