Ubiquitous Language, Before the Code Hardens
An open specification for keeping domain experts’ vocabulary aligned across conversation, documentation, code, and AI-assisted development.
Field notes
The proposed artifact is a YAML glossary scoped to one bounded context rather than a single organization-wide data model. Each term can carry language-specific labels, definitions, status, provenance, and links to related contexts or external vocabularies. The validation rule is deliberately operational: a confirmed term without a recorded decision fails the check. The page also separates the human-readable source files from RDF output and names SKOS, JSON-LD, and PROV-O as the interoperability and provenance foundations.
