Varve — A vault that writes down its own price
Credibility concern recorded. The source reference remains available for verification and correction.
Varve is an ERC-4626 vault design that records share-price changes on Robinhood Chain instead of leaving them implicit in short-lived state.
Field notes
The design separates the two components of a vault share price: supply, which remains reconstructible from transfer logs, and assets, which the site says disappear from accessible state after about 10.2 minutes on Robinhood Chain. Varve adds mutation records carrying assets, supply, and movement type, then uses chronology() to commit to their ordered sequence. Its comparison covers 49 ERC-4626 vaults over 4.7 days, including 20 with no recoverable price at any sampled block.
