Wovo uses a two-stage permission model: one approval connects a Mac to the Wovo account, while a later approval determines whether a particular AI host may use that Mac and its selected permissions. The page says the app remains available in the background, avoids an inbound port, and keeps Mac credentials separate from AI-host OAuth credentials. A Linux path is also described, but marked as preparing and dependent on a background runtime.
