BITransition Wants to Make BI Migration Reversible

BITransition divides migration into a platform-neutral translation stage and a platform-specific regeneration stage. Its proposed intermediate layer includes SQL for models, Airflow and Python for transformations, JSON and YAML for dashboard definitions, plus field-level lineage. The homepage says a read-only metadata export is sufficient to begin and that the resulting specifications enter a repository as reviewable pull requests. It also describes parity testing against source metrics before a cutover.
