An iPhone app checks local aurora activity, cloud cover, and darkness, then gives you a simple verdict on whether tonight is worth stepping outside.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-10 issue.

Field notes

The page frames the product around a three-part decision: darkness, local cloud cover, and aurora activity, with data attributed to NOAA and Open-Meteo. Its free tier is described as a local verdict plus the reasons behind it, while an optional one-time unlock adds eight rearrangeable dashboard cards and Home Screen widgets. Aurora notifications are identified as a future update, and the page cautions that its guidance is never a guarantee.
