Country Road Zambia Maps the Economy Before It Becomes Data
A field-intelligence project that studies everyday trade in Zambia’s high-density residential markets and turns observed activity into enterprise opportunities.
Field notes
The project combines field observation with modeled market scenarios. Its Ng’ombe example follows a pie business through ingredients, production, packaging, distribution, retail and repeat demand, while the accompanying scenario models 330 operators producing 198,000 units per day and K11.88 million in monthly consumer spend. The page labels those larger figures illustrative rather than field data. Country Road also describes training local entrepreneurs through KAMZ-WAY Academy and developing Edu-Business Hubs as part of its operating model.
