Fireball Designer puts the maker’s workbench in one app
A macOS design studio combines parametric 3D modeling, CNC and plasma toolpaths, vector artwork, and technical documents in one project file.
Field notes
Fireball Designer organizes model geometry, manufacturing preparation, vector work, and technical documentation around a shared project rather than separate exports. The free tier permits one saved project and exposes local files in the ordinary .fireballdesign format, with STEP, STL, and 3MF export listed for the 3D workspace. Sidecar is presented as an optional docked panel that can issue undoable commands, including a sample operation that fillets 14 edges and adds four M4 countersinks.
