Framebadger, the compute budget desk
A local browser tool for comparing task throughput, device costs, queue budgets, and the price of trying a computation again.
Field notes
The desk models sequential workloads by combining task throughput, device hourly cost, and remaining work into a USD comparison. Its retry accounting preserves the time spent on a failed attempt while charging only unfinished units to the next plan. The page asks users to enter their own measured values rather than treating its illustrative rates as benchmarks, and says no models, scenes, or datasets leave the browser. A separate FBDG section describes coordination features as unimplemented future plans.
