Editorial interest 82/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

A phone-based dating app that pairs verified singles for three-minute conversations instead of profile swiping.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-10 issue.

Field notes

Hej describes a live matching loop rather than a profile-browsing catalog: the user starts a round, receives a nearby available match, talks against a three-minute ring timer, and chooses Like or Skip. The site says first-use verification combines a short selfie check with photo review, while reports and blocks appear in every chat. Its paid layer separates recurring Hej Plus benefits from one-time coins for extra rounds, added minutes, or boosts.
