Kobook Replaces the Shop Notebook
An offline Android app for Nigerian neighborhood shops to track stock, sales, credit, expenses, and profit.
Field notes
The app organizes counter activity into inventory movements, cash and credit sales, expense entries, and cash-drawer reconciliation. Its example data uses familiar neighborhood-shop details, including rice, Peak Milk, sugar, Indomie, and a customer credit balance in naira. Records are described as living on the phone, with optional Google Drive backup under the owner's account. The Android build is distributed directly for testing rather than through the Play Store, so the project is visibly early-stage.
