mdfromx.com Observed source

Editorial interest 84/100 Selection signal · not a rating of the site

An open-source, read-only converter that presents public X posts, threads, profiles, search results, and articles as Markdown or JSON.

Landing page captured for the 2026-09-10 issue.

Field notes

The project uses a host-swap convention: the path and status ID stay the same while mdfromx.com returns a Markdown representation of the public X material. Its documented output can include numbered reply chains, nested quoted posts, media links, and full X Articles. An Obsidian option adds YAML frontmatter, while the API exposes Markdown, JSON, and raw variants; the site also publishes an OpenAPI 3.1 description and links to MIT-licensed source code.
