Field notes

The project uses a three-stage workflow: photograph the physical artifact, assign it a PACT catalogue number, and publish an appropriately sized web image. Selected records also become large-format prints on museum-grade archival paper, with stated dimensions of 18 × 24, 24 × 36, and 40 × 60 inches. The homepage specifically names books, sheet music, ephemera, and other printed artifacts as source material.
