Field notes
A dispatch is assigned to an animal and routed according to the distance between the sender’s and recipient’s ZIP codes. The visible roster ranges from a 60-mph pigeon to a 0.03-mph snail, with additional creatures gated by levels up to 99. Passing users can encounter messages only while the carrier crosses their ZIP, and the interface says each message may be revealed once.
