Field notes
The recovery pipeline first locates finder patterns and projects the photographed code back onto a module grid, including correction for perspective and screen bloom. A reference run uses a version 6, 41×41 code and reports a 97.8% fixed-pattern match after 233,136 solve combinations in 15.8 seconds. The page also explains a practical limit: at level M, roughly a fifth of corrupted codewords can exhaust the available repair budget.
