Ravelage, a node editor for generative sketches
A browser-based node graph editor for composing, animating, and exporting generative visuals on the GPU.
Field notes
Ravelage organizes generative composition around a graph in which parameters become sockets and connections drive visual changes. The page lists roughly forty node types across seven families, including shaders, geometry, text, values, and 3D scenes. Its loop system samples 4D simplex noise so the sequence returns to its starting point, while exports cover formats ranging from transparent WebM and SVG to Lottie and MP4. The editor is currently presented as a closed alpha.
