Tales From The Wasteland
A Bristol improv comedy show turns one audience suggestion into a brand-new post-apocalyptic adventure.
Field notes
Each performance begins with a survival suggestion supplied by the audience, then a randomly selected idea becomes the seed for an improvised world of factions, villains, characters, and dialogue. The show runs for two hours with an interval and is explicitly designed not to be repeated. The site gives examples ranging from noise-cancelling headphones to Japanese toilets, and places the project in Bristol’s improv scene while directing audiences to Instagram for date announcements.
