Evenstar organizes entries through user-created nested categories and tags, allowing a film, book, or restaurant review to share the same organizing label. Its search covers the words written by the user as well as titles, categories, and tags, with filters for rating and period. The page also describes a single-file export and import path for moving a journal between phones. Review cards can be generated in three layouts for optional sharing, while the app’s stated telemetry excludes the words users write.
