Blazer, the litter-picking robot
Litterblazer presents a ground-level robot concept for collecting everyday litter from sidewalks, parks, and beaches.
Field notes
The proposed machine combines two small collectors, a soft feed roller, conveyor, and belly bin to handle litter near the ground. Its intended operating loop extends beyond pickup: return to a dock, empty the bin, recharge, and revisit the assigned area. The site identifies sidewalks, parks, and beaches as target settings and lists slow movement, guarded mechanisms, and stops for people or animals as design requirements. Current visuals are based on CAD and scripted animation rather than demonstrated autonomous operation.
