LPDM separates the stable filename from the part record, where revisions and one-per-save iterations are stored. Its release gate freezes a revision and keeps associated STEP, PDF, and DXF outputs with the record that produced them. The page also describes an MCP interface through which assistants can search items, set attributes, lock parts, and release them, with actions placed in an audit trail under the user’s name. CATIA V5 is listed as complete; NX release exports remain in progress.
