The app parses a small Markdown grammar rather than maintaining a hidden task database: prefixes mark todos, questions, decisions, completed lines, and dropped items, while due dates alter the list order. Its age-based sorting is deliberately different from deadline management, showing how long an unresolved item has waited. The page also describes a local MCP server that can expose the file to an existing AI assistant, while the notes remain ordinary text in the Documents folder.
