Roundout: The Small-Dish Companion
A bilingual meal companion that suggests one manageable side dish based on what you are already making, your preferences, and the effort you have available.
Field notes
Roundout starts from whatever the cook already has in mind: a typed meal, a recipe photograph, or food currently on the plate. It adds remembered preferences and temporary requests such as warm or refreshing, then returns a small-dish suggestion with ingredients, short steps, and a pairing rationale. The examples include chickpea and cucumber lemon salad, tofu soup, and pear with cottage cheese. The homepage says saved preferences remain on the device, while some processing results are retained temporarily by the service.
