ShopSpotter’s San Francisco empty-lot explorer
An interactive property explorer maps potentially vacant San Francisco lots and pairs them with zoning, building-footprint, census, and nearby-business evidence.
Field notes
The explorer combines parcel search with several layers of neighborhood context rather than treating an empty lot as an isolated property. A selected parcel is intended to expose its boundary, satellite image, zoning, assessor classification, and building-footprint result, then compare nearby businesses and census-based demand signals. The surrounding-business view uses a 350-meter radius, while example inputs include a block number, street address, or parcel ID. The captured session still showed loading and retry controls for some data sources.
