The curriculum is organized around six operational tracks, from aircraft and fire behavior through carding, airmanship, human factors, and radios. Its reference frame includes NWCG standards PMS 505, 508, and 518, USFS Airtanker Standards, DOI contracts, FAA handbooks, and the Air Tractor training program. Specific modules address topics such as the AT-802 fire gate, Fire Traffic Areas, IMCS evaluation, P25 radios, duty limits, heat stress, and the airtanker accident record.
