i-on: a mouse cortex that listens to markets
An interactive art-science experiment routes stock-price movements through a simulated slab of mouse visual cortex, then sends part of its gains into a watchable Zcash address.
Field notes
The experiment assigns selected market channels to neurons in a reconstructed mouse-visual-cortex network, then renders each spike as a dot in a rolling activity display. Its rules include a quarter-percent one-minute price move as one current unit and saturation at three quarters of a percent. The model uses a 0.1 ms timestep and lists 128 displayed cells. A separate money path is described from Robinhood Chain through Ethereum and Near Intents into a Zcash address, with a seven-day crossing period.
