MASA Radio puts DJ sets where Filipino life happens
A Toronto-first video project filming Filipino DJs inside restaurants, groceries, barbershops, family homes, and other Filipino-owned spaces.

The project treats Filipino-owned businesses as both recording locations and part of the broadcast itself, retaining the surrounding menu, noise, neon, owners, and regulars as visible context. Its archive currently names four Toronto sets and their spaces, including Introspkt Café’s “Sari-sari” set and Fandemm Restaurant’s “Night” set. The page also records an open application for Set 05 and invites businesses to propose restaurants, groceries, barbershops, or family homes.
