The Bicycle Road, in Frame
Iranian visual storyteller Navid Faramarznezhad documents a solo bicycle journey from Shiraz through the Caucasus, including the work and people encountered along the way.
Field notes
The project uses a chronological travel narrative to connect geography with labor: after crossing from Iran into Armenia, the filmmaker worked forty days on a Yerevan construction site, then filmed a food-delivery shift in Georgia. The page records roughly 5,000 kilometres and 474 days on the road, while also describing a recovery period after a road accident. A route section, essay, images, media kit, and Persian-language link extend the personal archive beyond a simple portfolio.
