Athar, a prayer platform that watches the sky
An open-source Islamic platform combining prayer times, Qibla, Quran and Adhkar with locally computed astronomy and an ad-free interface.
Field notes
Athar combines astronomical and religious reference material in one interface: its day/night boundary is computed from the current solar position, and its Islamic-calendar dates are generated locally from the current date. The page currently names the Aladhan API as the source for prayer values and shows a Quran verse beside an orbital-mechanics explanation. Its stated roadmap includes offline calculations, a Qibla compass, Mushaf and Adhkar resources, personal tracking, and a public API.
