Notehead, a drum sightreading game that listens
A browser and Windows game that turns real drum notation into generated sightreading practice over MIDI or keyboard.
Field notes
The game separates endless survival from phrase-level practice: one mode increases tempo while misses drain an HP bar, while the other loops a single phrase for timing inspection. It supports USB MIDI kits and keyboard practice, learning a player’s pad mapping rather than relying on presets. The six named worlds progress from Pulse to Deep End and cover straight and triplet figures, swing, dynamics, ghost notes, and compound material. Charts are generated locally from a seed, with no accounts or servers described.
