Cubeway, a Rubik’s Cube Solver That Speaks Plain English
A browser-based solver lets users enter a scrambled cube and follow a solution move by move, without learning cube notation.
Field notes
Cubeway accepts a cube state by sticker color, validates the six center colors, and presents the resulting sequence as arrows and plain-language turns. Its default Two-phase method is described as producing solutions in 22 moves or fewer, while the optional Standard (CFOP) method follows the four stages used by speedcubers and usually takes 60 to 100 moves. A 3D view, flat unfolded view, notation toggle, and separate timer support different levels of familiarity.
