Geoinquadro: a geological workspace that starts with a map
A workspace for geologists to build editable geological-report drafts from a study area anywhere in Italy.
Field notes
Geoinquadro organizes geological reporting around a confirmed location: users can search for a municipality or enter WGS84 decimal-degree coordinates, then adjust the point on a map. The described workflow has three stages—localize, frame, complete—and combines geology, landslide risk, seismicity, and local sources while retaining references. Its output is presented as an editable base rather than a finished professional judgment, with investigations and assessments left visible for the geologist to add or verify.
