The microbiome report card for biogas digesters
Magrittr analyzes sequencing data from biogas plants and microbiome projects, turning raw reads into organism, pathway, and reactor-health reports.
Field notes
Magrittr accepts existing sequencing reads rather than collecting or sequencing samples itself, then reconstructs the organisms present and checks their genetic capacity across digestion and methanogenesis routes. Its sample output includes a one-page operator summary, a full HTML report, and result tables. The site describes a benchmark of 1,401 digester genomes and gives a health-check price of €305 per sample, with general projects starting at €120. It explicitly separates genetic capacity from measured reactor activity.
