Pegbox maps recurring sound effects to visual tiles and category-specific Pro Tools tracks, so an editor can audition by image and place a selected file at the session cursor. The page describes a pegboard for sounds a show repeatedly needs, plus keyboard controls for pinning, spotting, replaying, and stopping. Its built-in image album covers common effects such as doors, rooms, cars, phones, footsteps, and weapons; custom illustrations can use filename metadata and a user-supplied OpenAI or Gemini key.
