PigmentPilot asks the painter to begin with the materials already on hand: the mixer selects from 28 oil and watercolor pigments, then calculates proportions for a clicked color in a photo or an entered hex value. Its stated model uses reflectance curves across 16 wavelength bands and Kubelka–Munk mixing, with results including target distance and warnings about dominant pigments.
