Range Kitchen turns sales exports into prep work
Restaurant operations software converts recent POS sales and on-hand counts into day-specific par levels, prep sheets, and supplier orders.
Field notes
Range Kitchen models restaurant prep as a repeating sequence rather than a fixed spreadsheet: upload sales, confirm item matches, print a walk-order count sheet, enter on-hand quantities, and generate prep and ordering outputs. Its example rebuilds Saturday’s par from the last four Saturdays, adds a 5% buffer, rounds to 80 portions, then subtracts 26 on hand to produce 54 to make. Modifier reports are also read, so add-ons can affect ingredient counts.
