StrataBurn turns maps into layered cuts

The proposed workflow accepts a named geographic area, a drawn map box, a GeoTIFF, an image, or a short description, then produces layered cut files with adjustable depth and dimensions. The page specifies three to seven layers, 50 mm to one metre output sizes, and optional roads, rivers, buildings, labels, and compass roses. Examples cite NOAA Great Lakes data, the GEBCO global grid, and a 10 m USGS elevation model for Mount St. Helens.
