SunStrike Studio, a 3D Solar Bill-of-Quantities Tool
A browser-based solar design studio that models buildings, places panels on individual roof planes, and produces installation quantities.
Field notes
The studio models a building from dimensions, roof type, slope and azimuth, then places panels independently on each roof plane. Its displayed factory example uses two planes and 90 panels, producing quantities for 172 Mid clamps, 22 End clamps, 238.9 metres of rail and 431 metres of DC cable. The page distinguishes this material-takeoff workflow from energy modeling: it explicitly says that power and energy production are not calculated.
