A prototype voice companion for older people living at home with part-time care, offering reminders, pill-box check-ins, conversation and a shared family panel.
Field notes
The proposed device combines a large physical button, spoken prompts and a sensor fitted to an ordinary seven-day pill box. Its family panel records reminder status, voice confirmations and missed-item messages without presenting recordings. The example day includes a blood-pressure pill, lunch, water and an evening pill, while the conversational layer handles messages such as asking Ana to bring bread. The site identifies the hardware and service as a prototype and invites families to join a pilot.
