The reading desk separates character, pinyin, tone, and website sizing, allowing learners to tune the page rather than accept one fixed study view. Audio can come from a device Mandarin voice or prepared narration, with word and character drills and follow-along timing. The site also exposes several reference systems for word-level underlines, including Taiwan TBCL and TOCFL alongside multiple HSK editions. Imported material is kept in the browser, while server narration is separately gated by an access key and consent.
