Arvessa gives citrus farms a weekly irrigation card
Arvessa uses satellite imagery and the FAO-56 method to recommend how many millimetres of water each citrus-farm block needs in Souss-Massa, Morocco.
Field notes
The proposed workflow combines Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8/9 imagery with FAO-56 calculations, then adjusts the result using soil measurements from each farm. A weekly card is intended to specify water in millimetres for each irrigation block and arrive by WhatsApp or paper. The homepage gives example figures of 42, 35, and 28 mm for three citrus blocks. Its pilot is still being assembled, with calibration planned against field measurements.
