Watermark: Australia's observed flood record
A free address-search tool showing when public satellites observed standing water across Australia, alongside archived river-gauge and terrain data.
Field notes
The tool joins Landsat observations with archived Bureau of Meteorology gauge readings, elevation data, and nearby road low points. It treats a satellite pass as a dated observation over an approximately 30-metre patch, rather than as proof that a particular building flooded. The page also explains that cloud, an 8–16-day pass interval, and short-lived floods can leave gaps, while its gauge archive is not a live warning feed.
