Backyard frames a walk as a sequence of location-triggered audio stories rather than a preplanned tour. The homepage lists five narrative moods, including Time Machine, Hidden City, Dark Side, Behind the Scenes, and Unfiltered, then connects each walk to a journal recording distance, duration, and story stops. It also describes community route sharing and an Exploration Log with badges for tours, distance, cities, and streaks. Extra moods, voices, questions, and daily story capacity are presented as upgrade features.
